I’ve been searching for a part time job for about a year now but have yet to find something that one: works with my school schedule
two: focuses on expanding my portfolio and learning more about the design industry

I apply for jobs usually on Mondays and Fridays. I also recently went to meet with an advisor at the Professional Development Center who helped me revise my resume and cover letter.

I found two great positions that I thought would be a perfect fit for me but I have yet to hear back from them. One was for a Social Media Manager at Blackbook Media and the other was Freelance Social Media Designer/Content Manager at Casmara Eastcoast. Both these postings were on Indeed.com and  received a notification that my application was viewed but no response so far. I felt that both these positions were perfect for me because they were both looking for someone with social media and graphic design experience. The last two positions I held focused on both.

I’d like to find a way to emphasize the fact that I have the experience and skills these companies need to fill this position. It’s something I hope to focus on this semester.
