This was my first time to have a Dining Etiquettes class and it was fun learning the history of why we have utensil and how to use them while dining out. One thing I learn was the difference of the spoons at the table.

  1. The rounded spoons is for your soup or dessert. While the spoon with the pointy tip is for your hot liquids like tea and coffee.
  2. The small fork is for the mussels. You will get the small fork depending on the food that you order.
  3. You’ll get two knives. The one on the right hand side its for you to cut the food, while the knife on the left right hand its for the butter and bread only, provided to you at the table.
  4. The napkin or cloth will be provided and its place on your lap.
