Patrick Grandinette from Google came to City Tech to talk about what he does at Google and how he got there. He started by how he study business in his hometown in Pennsylvania. The head of agency business development at Google shared his journey to New York and how he got rejected a few times before getting something and moving to New York City in his early 20’s. He worked as a manager and he described how being a manager is a hard position, saying that when you’re a manager you have to be a good listener and also a therapist in some type of way because you get to see closely how people have bad and good days.
