Event Description: Come to discuss the ethics and responsibilities of remixing and sharing in open digital pedagogy, & learn about the new functionality for cloning and adapting content on the OpenLab.
I went to that event and I have seen a lot of people who were interested in the same habits and work as I’m and they were so cool and I got to know a lot of about media than I used to, and I discovered more resources than I thought I had.
Event Description: Weaving Fragments: On The Connoisseurship of Italian Renaissance Tapestry Cartoons In this talk Prof. McAuliffe will examine the design of sixteenth-century European tapestries and the cartoons, or full-size colored drawings, that were used as models in the workshops of Flemish weavers. The artists Raphael (1483–1520) and Giulio Romano (1499–1546) were the most influential Italian tapestry designers of the sixteenth century. This talk will highlight how their influence led to confusion regarding the date and authorship of surviving cartoon fragments by copyists and followers.
I have attended this event and it was a fruitful event for me, to see all this history in one place was so inspiring for any designer, especially one in the begging of their career, who need experience and history balance in their favor.
New York Comic Con is October 4 through October 7, 2018.
So just saying Comic-Con, you will automatically visual early Halloween. while everybody is in awesome costumes and all creators from everywhere are there opened armed, actually introducing themselves to the fans.
in this photo, I actually was in jaw-dropping pose seeing them doing the movie inside out characters professionally, they were so friendly, and when I asked them for a photo, they automatically posed like that, which was awesome.
in this photo, I didn’t actually know the character he or she is doing, but it attracted me how hard he/she tried to be impressive. I know the character on the left she is Harley Queen from the suicide squid.
I went to an event “Art, Design, and the Great Energy Transition” on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. the event was at Pershing Hall on Governors Island. I went with my friend Reem, and it was marvelous, I found out that the event is about “The Energy Duck”. So we stayed on the event of the energy duck and the designers were talking about it.
“So much more than just a duck! Energy Duck is an entertaining, iconic sculpture, a renewable energy generator, a habitable tourist destination, and a celebration of local wildlife.” (Energy Duck – Land Art Generator)
“The common eider duck resides in great numbers in Copenhagen; however, its breeding habitat is at risk from the effects of climate change. Energy Duck takes the form of the eider to act both as a solar collector and a buoyant energy storage device.” ( Energy Duck – Land Art Generator).
