Q: How do you intend to grow as a designer with this program ?

A: I intend to grow by taking as  many classes i can to better grasp my knowledge of design. Rectilinear (adjective) : moving in or forming a straight line

In, “Nontsikelelo Mutiti on Interrogating the Euro-centric Design Canon”,  Samarskaya states, “But what if we think about kente in relationship to that, in relationship to modernism and a rectilinear approach to design motifs?”

In “Why Collaborate” Ellen Lupton states: “I have enjoyed voluntary, informal collaborations with my friends, but i have resented being forced into arbitrary, mismatched teams in the name of social correctness”

In other words, Ellen Lupton is saying that she doesn’t like working in groups with people that don’t have the same creative mindset as her.
