“BHS” Field Trip Reflection

On Wednesday, October 19th I attended a field trip to the Brooklyn Historical Society. It was an amazing experience to attend and watch and learn about other people stories. It was quite exciting to learn about Kameelah Janan Rasheed and her view on the oral histories that are part of this initiative. In this museum, it offered a continued reflection of the artist’s lived experience as a muslim women . “BRIC” Field Trip Reflection

On Tuesday, November 12th I attended a field trip to the BRIC Museum.  It was an amazing experience to see and learn new things. This incredible place stands for Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. In the art gallery we saw artist from all over the world. The artist that stood out to me the most was Mona Saeed Kamal. She is a amazing person that show passion in here work.
