As a group preparing for the presentation, what is your process?

  1. look at what’s in the annotated bibliography!
  2. decide which sources to use, and for what
  3. start making a list
  4. post your list on the OpenLab
  5. present your ideas!

    -Mission statement: is a short statement which states the “why” of a company and its goal, as well as it’s impact towards the customers.

    – tone and style: assertive, short and to the point, bold and focused.

    – Mission statement is used for companies to tell the public a bit about the company and its goal, so costumers know what is to be expected.

    -Examples of a Mission statement
    – Nordstrom: To give customers the most
    compellingg shopping experience
    possible.
    -Patagonia: Build the best product, cause
    no unnecessary harm, use business to
    inspire and implement solutions to the
    environmental crisis.
    -Prezi: To reinvent how people share
    knowledge, tell stories, and inspire their
    audiences to act.

    Before we talk about what audience a mission statement is going to target. We need to first breakdown what components are made to identify your specific audience.

    The first main component is what is your vision or statement of your company. Or rather the intent in which you are trying to reach the audience for.

    The second main component is what do you want the audience to get from your mission statement for example, some useful information, advice, reliable resources or even inspiration and guidance.

    The third and final component is the outcome for the audience. It should reflect every facet of your business. which ultimately the goal is to creates opportunity’s and relationships.
