Homogeneous

adjective ho·mo·ge·neous

made up of the same kind of people or things.

“In a small village just twenty miles away, the population is more ethnically homogeneous, but the culture is nonetheless connected to the world.” – Universe strikes back.

Knowing the definition helped me understand what the rest of the third paragraph meant.

  1. You need to expand that last sentence–this is not a sufficient explanation for a glossary entry. Instead, use the new understanding you have of the definition of homogeneous to explain what the paragraph or sentence means for the benefit of your classmates.
