Project 2 Summary

I learned how visual hierarchy can manipulate the viewers attention along with other elements such as tension and emphasis. I also learn how contrast can help activate the foreground and background, negative and positive space. In class I learn how contrast can come in many forms such as organic shapes, geometric shapes, and etc.

My Texture Choices

I would use this texture for a poster or text skin for a aquarium.

I would use this for chemistry theme composition or simply for contrast for lighter color.

SCAD Graphic Design Students

Justin Barber: a SCAD University student who work is very simplistic and modern. I like the use of contrast along with clear typography. Gives you the feeling that this is the red bull for dogs.

By Jessica Leavitt: Her style is more retro with a great use of pattern in the composition.
