Learning and Growing

During my time at this internship, I was able to attend a Zoom meeting giving me a large insight into how to increase traffic on social media. She basically explained how when it comes to social media there are three main parts, the appetizer, the meal, and the dessert. breaking down into details which is what helped me understand and better plan for my internship knowing that the goal is to increase engagement through several platforms. I was also able to meet with the founder of the non-profit origination I was working for. I was able to learn a lot about what it was they needed but also an understanding of the about of responsibility is placed and is required when one is in charge. All these small yet large invents were very enlightening for my education and growth in my field and journey.

Collaborative Project

During the time of the internship, there was no exact collaborative physical work done together as a whole, although as a team, we collaboratively discussed deadlines and the execution of plans. From figuring out who would be in charge of media control, web, control, and design executions for different social media platforms to ways we can improve our individual design, and increased traffic we all played a large role. Collaborating this way forces one to trust their teammate to do their part of the work because then we would all fall behind delaying our schedule/Goal. This is where time management, ethics, and discipline come to play.

Self-Evaluation

If I had to give myself an overall evaluation of how I did in the internship I would say I did pretty well. I made sure to complete my task when need to be done and made sure the goal at hand was being worked on so it can be achieved. During the internship, I recognized the importance of time management and organization. While I generally managed my schedule well, there were instances where I could have improved my efficiency by prioritizing tasks more effectively. This is an area I aim to focus on and enhance in future endeavors. Furthermore, I value constructive feedback and actively sought opportunities to learn and grow from my supervisor and team leader. Overall, I am proud of my performance during the internship with this nonprofit organization. I have gained valuable insights, developed essential skills, and demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement. I will carry these experiences forward and continue to strive for personal and professional growth.
