Yu, Hai is a doctoral candidate in mathematics at the CUNY Graduate Center where he studies the geometric group theory. Before moving to New York, he was a student in the Capital Normal University and the Beijing Jiaotong University focusing on differential geometry and topology. He enjoys teaching mathematics and is happy to serve as a Quantitative Fellow at the CityTech.
