Nick Knight is one of the most influential and respected fashion photographers of the last 50 years.  He is a huge influence on my art and designs, and I eagerly devour all new work he produces.

Knight grew up in a family of medical professionals, and had planned to go to college to study medicine, but ultimately fell in love with photography and changed over to art school.  While still in art school at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design, he self published a book of his photographs in 1982 called Skinhead.  Then he started shooting photos for the British fashion magazine i-D, and by the 90’s he was photographing ad campaigns for such clients as Yohji Yamamoto and Jill Sander.
