Hi Class,

I’ve posted the two stories for next week in the Readings menu tab:

Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s “The Yellow Wallpaper”

and

Ambrose Bierce’s “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge”

I hope that they are memorable and provide a gothic vibe.

For next week: please arrive on time next ready to take Quiz 1. Be able to apply some aspect of the Gothic Definitions to the readings.  And be able to discuss the narration, narrators, and plot of all five of the stories.
