As a Professor in the Communication Design Department at City Tech – New York City College of Technology, CUNY, I teach courses in illustration, character design, and sequential art, as well as supervise senior thesis projects for illustration students.
As a new Professor in the MA Program in Biography and Memoir at The CUNY Graduate Center, I teach comics writing and illustration as a tool for personal narrative.
I am also the primary curator of City Tech’s Grace Gallery OpenLab, where students, faculty, and staff can meet to learn, work, and share their ideas.
This site, accessible via the OpenLab, serves as a teaching portfolio for the documentation and presentation of teaching, institutional service, and professional achievements. Archived courses taught at the New York City College of Technology, CUNY from 2016 until the present are available by semester for student and pedagogical reference.
