Hello. My name is Dane Russell. I am an Applied Mathematics Major. I have an interest in computer science born from a desire to create; I used to regularly write short stories when I was in junior high. In high school I spent four months working on a small 2D videogame(character models, animations, environments and basic coding). I lost all of the saved data for the project when my computer crashed, but that tiny spark is still there. My primary reason for this major is to both pursue that dream and hopefully have a stable financial situation in the future. Thanks for reading.
