My major is Computer Science. I got interested in Computer Science during high school because of its complexity. After I graduate from City Tech I hope to continue improving on my programming skills and get a job or internship with my degree. MAT 2440 was different from any math class that I’ve ever had. It was a challenge but a good one none the less. At the end of this course I hope to have a better understanding of algorithms and pseudocode.

good luck
Hi Francisco. I love that you were attracted to computer science because of its complexity! To me it sounds like you’re saying, “I could have studied something easy, but that’d be no fun. I like being challenged!” One of the interesting things about math and computer science is that the whole point is to take a complex problem, and break it down, and break it down, and break it down, until it’s simple. Certainly, the solutions can end up being very complex, but if you really understand them, they’re totally easy.
