Daniil Y, Muhammed A, Dashawn G,  Mateo V, and one other person were present for the class on Tuesday. We found the words empowering, meaningful, and activeto be the most meaningful from the class community agreement. As for the in-group agreement, we agreed that I would remain as secretary for the remainder of the course, and that I will post for the group in OpenLab. We have agreed to keep in contact through WhatsApp messenger.

Group assignment: aligning HOT topics

Post due Monday, February 16

You should be keeping your old HOT topics question sheets together in a safe place so that later in the semester you can use them to practice for the HOT topic sessions.

As a group, choose one of the versions of the question sheet from Week 2 (February 5). Align each of the problems with one of the HOT topic standards listed here.

The secretary’s post will include:

  1. A photo of the question sheet
  2. The alignment between the problems and the standards (this can be written by hand on the question sheet or typed separately)
  3. The names of the group members who participated in the alignment
  4. Title: Group n HOT topic alignment (where n is your group number)
  5. Categories:
    • Group n (where n is your group number)
    • HOT topic alignment
