Introducing Jayvon Judge

Hi! My name is Jayvon Judge, and I am entering my second year as a student at City Tech. The pronouns I prefer are he/him/his. The major that I am currently studying is Computer Systems. I had chosen that major out of pure interest to see which avenue of that field would particularly interest me into making a career out of it; while I am still pursuing what area I would like to find my passion in developing my skills for that field, one particular aspect of it that has caught my interest this year is web design. The following math courses that I would take after this one are Discrete Structures and Algorithms I and II. Besides that, I’m pretty much a down-to-earth guy who loves to play video games, different sports (primarily basketball), as well as play/listen to music. I strive to become as successful as I can in whatever field I decide to pursue my career in.

INTRODUCING SARA HASHEM

MY MAJOR IS MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. I BECAME INTERESTED IN MY MAJOR BECAUSE I WENT TO AVIATION HIGH SCHOOL . I LOVE AIRPLANES AND TRAVELING. SO I THOUGHT WHY NOT ENGINEERING. I HAVE TO TAKE MAT 1475 AND MAT 1575. MY FAVORITE ANIMAL IS CAT.  I ALWAYS GET MISTAKEN FOR A 12 OR 15 YEAR OLD EVEN THOUGH IM 21 YEARS OLD. ALSO I GET MISTAKEN FOR A HISPANIC  EVEN THOUGH IM NOT. SO I ALWAYS HAVE PEOPLE COME SPEAK SPANISH TO ME AND I DON’T UNDERSTAND. YOU’LL NEVER GUESS WHERE IM FROM.

Introducing Wynn Chao

Hello my name is Wynn Chao. As of right now my major is associated chemistry. At first i majored in environmental control technology but it was not what i imagined so i switched. I choose this as the major i switched to because i was interested in chemistry from a young age. On my off time i do like to cook, read, play video games and sometimes just sleep. Cooking was something i got into when i was young because i was tired of eating the same thing over and over again, so the answer was just to make my own food.  When i’m not cooking or playing games the thing i do the most is read. The book series Hero’s of Olympus by Rick Riordan was one of my favorites during middle school and high school. Right now i just read anything that interests me from Chinese, Japanese and English novels to recipes of new dishes. For the future i have to take at least two more math classes after this one and that is hurting my brain.

Introducing Tamur Arshad

My name is Tamur Arshad. My major is  computer systems. This is my second year and third semester. My pronouns are him, he and his. I chose this major because I haven’t found any other major that could suit me better. I would take 1475 after this course. I do not have a pet but I would like to have a cat. Something that I am good at is minding my own business and keep things to myself. There is nothing I can think of anything  that I feel proud of. After graduating from city tech; I of course want to find work according to my major that I studied in.

Introducing Pierre-Ryan Baptiste

Hello,

My name is Pierre-Ryan Baptiste, but most people call me Ryan. My pronouns are he, him, and his. I’m a computer engineering major, and because of that I’ve so much to look forward to before graduation. Most of my classes are just different forms of math so I guess I have to take at least two math classes per semester not including the labs. After graduation I hope to be working with tech based companies or starting something of my own as soon as possible. I’m proud of a lot of the things that I can do, like playing football (soccer) and computer programing. Procrastination is a big hurdle for me, I had a week to do this but I’m finally doing it. At least it’s not last minute though (it might as well be). Finally deciding to my homework is one of the difficult things that I overcame, only in this case it’ll most likely be a weekly occurrence. I’ll probably grow out of it. My favorite book is The False Prince the first in the trilogy written by Jennifer A. Nielsen. My favourite animals are lions.

Introducing DanHong Huang

Hi! My name is DanHong Huang. Computer Systems is my major. I’ll take MAT 1475(Calculus I) after MAT 1375. Then, I love drawing because it can make me relax. When I feel stressed, painting is a way for me to release my pressure. I like to draw pictures that I like. My favorite book is Flowers for Algernon. It really impresses me because I can feel the affection, friendship, and love around Charlie from this book.

Introducing Iqra Nazir

Hi

My name is Iqra Nazir. My pronounce are Iqra, she, her, hers. My major is Accounting. After I graduate from City Tech my short term goal is to work as an internal accountant and than after getting my Accounting lisence I’ll work as a private accountant for my long term goals. In sports, I am very good at playing badminton and basketball. In my senior year, in high school I won a trophy by competing with other students in badminton.

Introducing Jamal S

Hello, My name is Jamal Sennon. My pronouns are he/him/his. I am currently majoring in architectural technology. I became interested in this major by taking classes while attending high school which introduced me to different majors. One was for architecture and I really enjoyed it. Besides architecture I love art and movies. After MAT 1375 I plan on taking calculus. When I  graduate from city tech I plan on applying to jobs at archtecture firms to gain some experience as well as save towards things I may want in the future. I am also planning on going for my masters in architecture.

Introducing Josue Nunez

Hello,  my name is Josue Nunez and I also introduce myself as Josh/Joshua (this is to save time and skip over the part when people try to pronounce it) any one of these is good to use. My major is Computer Science, I don’t really have a burning passion for my major I’m studying this because I just haven’t found anything I’m passionate, although you may say that the main reason I’m doing this is so that I can have a good paycheck and not go through 6+ years of college. The future math classes I’ll be taking will be calculus (1 and 2), Discrete Structures & Algorithms (1 and 2), Introduction to linear algebra, General physics, and lastly Mathematical & Quantum Reasoning. Yeah, I know.  Goals for after I graduate would be to live on my own and financially stable enough to buy my necessities plus or minus a car. That was my short term goal, my long term goal would be to get married and start a family, I’m not doing this college thing only for myself,  I also need to make enough to supply their needs, because I don’t want to be someone who can’t.
