CUNY Cultural Corps 2023-2024 Academic Year Internship
Interns will gain valuable professional experience while working with New York city’s cultural institutions and benefit from exposure to the arts in NYC.
Interns are paid $17 per hour.

CUNY Blackstone LaunchPad has curated a workshop where students will learn in-demand skills including active listening, how to work with others, and communicating your personal brand. Attendees who stay for the entire event will also get the chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card that they can use to set themselves up for future career success!

1. Resume Review: Technical Recruiters and Engineering Managers

Hosted by the Tech Talent Pipeline, this event brings together technical recruiters and engineering managers to share how they review resumes and what things they look at when reviewing candidates. Participants will have the opportunity to see professionals from Etsy, Oscar Health, and Kyndryl review sample candidate resumes and hear real-time feedback. This is an interactive event, so students should come prepared to ask questions and engage with panelists.
2. Latina and Black Women’s Guide to Success in Tech

Latina and Black Women’s Guide to Success in Tech brings together seasoned professionals to talk about their paths to success in the field. Learn from technologists, activists, and cyber security experts who will share how they navigated this space and got to where they are today. There is not just one way to be successful in tech! Participants will learn from amazing panelists who have had to navigate it all.
