Upperclassman Internship

REX is an internationally-acclaimed architecture and design firm based in New York City, whose name signifies a re-appraisal (RE) of architecture (X). Operating across many scales, REX consistently challenges and advances building typologies, and promotes the agency of architecture. To accommodate an expanding number of cultural, institutional, residential and commercial projects worldwide—including the new performing arts center at Brown University and a mixed-use skyscraper in Perth, Australia—we are seeking exceptional Architects to join our dynamic and highly-focused New York office. Individuals will work within a diverse international team of talented and motivated colleagues to explore innovative design solutions, challenge preconceptions, and advance typologies while working closely with leadership in our fast-paced and extremely collaborative environment.
Requirements:
*Applicants must be enrolled at their university during the period of the internship.
(REX does not accept interns who are not current students in an architectural degree program)
*Commitment to a Full Time Internship for a duration of 6-12 months onsite in Brooklyn, NY.
•Strong positive references.
•Software: AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office; Revit strongly desired.
•Language: Fluency in spoken and written English; other languages beneficial but not mandatory.
•This is a paid Internship.
•Housing is not provided.
