Our Software Application professionals act as product evangelists, program/project managers, and marketers. They are also consultants and provide support to third party product developers—helping developers create and move their products to Information Architecture to achieve the best performance.

Intel is looking for candidates with industry experience in applications, software, or technical support functions. You will need programming skills for embedded systems and multi-core architecture plus experience in GPU, DSP, VLIW, and SIMD programming.

Summer Internships at Department of Design and Construction:

The Department of Design and Construction (DDC) serves as the City’s primary capital construction project manager. DDC’s Summer Internship Program is an opportunity for a select group of students to gain valuable experience in the architecture, engineering, design, and construction management professions within a public service context.

STRUCTURE OF PROGRAM
• Each intern is assigned to a mentor within the respective
division, and will be assigned to a project for the term
of the program, or may rotate through different types of
projects, depending upon the availability of projects.
• There will be meetings/seminars with DDC senior staff
and DDC summer high school interns.
• Interns participate in Community Day, a day of service
working on various projects within the City of New York.
• Field trips to significant projects, such as: Willowbrook
Park Flood Control (BMP); Manhattan Class Company

An internship with our New York HDR office will offer students the opportunity to be part of creative environments while getting hand-on experience in Healthcare and Science + Technology projects. In the role of Intern Architectural, we’ll count on you to:

  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of an Architect, Project Manager, or other professionals
  • Participate in the architectural design process, and develop alternative solutions and presentation graphics used to communicate concepts to client or for agency approval
  • Follow through on design development drawings and models, and collaborate with production staff for technical details and completion of construction drawings
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Architecture program
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • AutoCAD & Revit experience required.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer 2+ years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
  • Submission of a sample page along with a resume is preferred.
  • Sketchup, Rhino and other visualization tools is a plus
  • Preference will be given to local candidates.

Job Description: Are you interested in spending the summer working with a leading, award-winning professional firm offering engineering, architectural, planning, environmental and construction management services?

STV’s internship program is an important part of STV’s strategic plan for growth.  Our managers work closely with students in an effort to prepare and evaluate them for full time STV employment upon graduation. In addition to meaningful work on many world-class projects, we offer STV’s Summer Intern Development Program to our interns to help them network with one another, to learn some critical professional skills, and to have fun.

We are seeking interns with a high GPA, strong computer skills. Previous relevant work/internship experience is a plus.

Key responsibilities will include entry level duties of moderate difficulty providing the opportunity for training in various departments throughout the organization. Performs assigned duties to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for successful performance. May perform duties such as gathering and organizing data to provide information for departmental special projects or reports; assisting professional level employees on assignments; and other related duties as assigned. Assignments serve to offer practical experience and broad exposure to the company’s organizational structure. Utilizes current company-wide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.  Specific activities vary by assignment.
