Entry Level Data Analyst

About: Entry level Data Analyst position at Bright Power, New York, NY.
Primary Tasks

  • Help Energy Analysis Team integrate property and utility account data into systems
  • Ensure that energy and water bill data from various sources remains up to date and accurate in EnergyScoreCards,  online software platform
  • Collaborate with Bright Power Energy Analysts to provide clients tailored EnergyScoreCards service
  • Communicate with clients, utilities, and third party bill data providers to troubleshoot data access and quality issues
  • Provide insight on the effectiveness of energy conservation measures our team of engineers has implemented and help analysts and engineers make new recommendations
  • Produce data visualization and business intelligence reports for internal and external purposes using tools such as Microsoft PowerBI and Tableau
  • Learn about the energy efficiency industry to become the energy expert for the clients
  • Use and improve upon existing python scripts, while acquiring the skills to create new scripts for data transformation and analysis
  • Contribute to the growth of the company by developing creative ways to use the data and tools at disposal

  • Basic logic and statistics courses
  • Familiarity with nosql databases a plus
