(Li and Yves discussing tips on their school projects)

Li: Hey what’s up!

Yves: what’s up!

Li: you re done with your project?

Yves: almost.

(not surprised)

Li: I’m most likely going to have to buy a cheap 3d printer for the parts I need for the robotic arm.
Yves: yeah, It’s fun
Li: oh I know, very useful too, but I know absolutely nothing about them
Yves: Yeah, there isn’t too much to it. Unless you wanna upgrade
Li: nah I’m not going to do anything crazy on it
Yves: Get a 220x220mm or bigger print bed. Like the ender 3
Li: yeah I was thinking about that one
Yves: You can get it for real cheap. And it is so popular, you will end up upgrading
Li: nah I don’t think ill upgrade. I’m too cheap for that
Yves: Mods, touch screen, BL touch, modified firmware
Li: probably do small mods
Yves: I got two now

(surprised)
Li: wow
Yves: Ender 3 upgraded and 3 pro stock
Li: what did you do with the small one
Yves: Still sitting, will prolly fix it one day the print surface is just too tiny

(Li being curious)
Li: what’s wrong with it?
Yves: It wouldn’t heat up and needs new extruder
Li: how much is an extruder
Yves: about 15 bucks

Li: that’s cheap!

Yves: The thing is I’m not sure if that’s the only thing wrong with it.

Li: LOL, I see
