The first Chapter of “Truth and Beauty” was pretty interesting. As the writer did emphasize about Lucy’s prior hardships and the development of her relationship with Anne from casual college students who talked about serial experiences to adults that faced the real world. Despite her fight against cancer and her disfigurement from cancer it didn’t stop her from being ambitious to become a remarkable fiction writer and settling with someone she loves. Which shows that great deal of passion through her writing. The Author keeps the reader’s invested on Lucy and curious about her sexual and love life. The Author attempts to show that no matter what state you’re in or what category people put you, at the end of the day it’s all about what you believe your value is and how much you really want to reach your goals.Â

Class meeting information: This class meets in person at City Tech in Namm 420C. This class meets on Wednesdays from 11:30 AM – 2 PM.
Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 – 1:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
