To whoever is taking this class in the future, I recommend you come to class and do the work. You learn a lot about your writing and how you can improve it. You may or may not use your skills after, but you will have learned a lot about yourself. When you come with your work, it makes the class a bit more enjoyable as you are engaging in something and not just sitting and listening to some boring lecture. This is why I’ll also state that this class is a break from all the craziness of the other required and rigorous classes you will take. Yea there is still work but it is much more about expressing yourself so that makes it better than most classes.
About
Professor: Jessica Penner
Email: creative.writing.citytech2@gmail.com
Class meeting information: This class meets in person at City Tech in Namm 420C. This class meets on Wednesdays from 11:30 AM – 2 PM.
Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 – 1:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
