After reading The Wife’s Story by Ursula K. Leguin I enjoyed how the perspective was given through the mothers. I was able to get a sense of what she was feeling and going through the story. I enjoyed how there’s a lot of imagery throughout the story. I was able to envision what these characters looked like and understand the issues that were happening in the story. I like how the author would drop clues throughout in order to get the readers hooked. Towards the end it took a whole turn when we realized that the Husband was a werewolf.

Some things that I would ask the author would possibly be why confuse the readers and make them figure out things using clues. What was the purpose of doing so? Another question could be if this were from the husband’s perspective what would it sound like? Would we get an answer as to why and when did his transformations start? Was he always a wolf or human?
