My experience writing poems wasn’t too bad but neither was good, since the beginning I knew I was not going to enjoy it as I usually do with other assignments. This was actually my first time writing poetry and I must say that I found it a little bit challenging and was kind of worried, I tend to be very insecure when it comes to me trying new things but after doing some research I was less insecure. In the beginning I was a bit stuck because I wanted every stanza to rhyme so bad that nothing came to mind but after reading some of the poems in the website I realized that they didn’t necessarily had to, therefore, I took some of them as a guide and just let my imagination flow. I do not know if they are going to be good but at least I tried and I know that the next time I’m going to do better.Â

Office Hours: 1 to 2 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation through email each week. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email.
