Mohammed Hashim, POV story

Greg is a policeman that recently started working with the NYPD after he moved from Pennsylvania. He served a few years as a cop back in Pennsylvania but New York City is much different and it’s a new environment for him to adapt to. Greg was called in to keep the rioters off of violence, as you can see the terror of riots all around downtown Brooklyn. Riots and protests broke out against police injustice all over Downtown Brooklyn after the George Floyd case. Greg was trying his best to keep himself and the public safe by carrying a baton, a shield and other safety measures. There were fires, store lootings, and mass of people trying to protest against police injustice. Greg and his co-workers had a hard time doing their jobs during these times because people won’t budge without getting justice for George Floyd and continue their fights against injustice towards black people. Greg’s police vehicle was damaged by rioters that night. The NYPD was trying different measures to keep the city safe but people weren’t having it with injustice all over America.

    Good Evening Mohammed,
For this passage I know you are talking about picture A. When you mention Greg was called in to keep the rioters off of violence, I was thinking about a police officer standing with riot gears getting ready to address the rioting conditions. Also, you mention the police officer carrying baton and a shield definitely conform why I pick picture A. Picture A shows a man in riot gear carrying a baton and shield.
