Iāve upgraded to iPhone 11 pro max beginning of this year because I needed a new phone for a change. I have used it a lot on a daily basis since I bought it. Nowadays, you can pretty much do anything on a smartphone you could do on a computer. From social media use to watching TV shows, movies accessing a streaming service, tracking your steps and any other emergency needs such as calling 911. Smartphones became one of the life essentials for the new generations. You can easily panic from not finding your phone in your pocket. I was really happy once I finally bought my iPhone but I think I took it for granted. Itās as the saying goes āYou donāt appreciate the things you have until you lose themā. I ended up losing my phone after going on one of my summer trips with my friends. I was devastated by the loss because now I have to spend money on getting another phone, invest my time, and collect all of my data. Losing my phone probably has been my worst experience this summer. Here I am still looking to invest in another phone while I temporarily use my friendās old phone which I am really glad for. Iāve never lost anything as close and as expensive as my phone in terms of accessories. This memory will stick with me for a long time but I appreciate that it happened. I believe everything happens for a reason, whether it’s good or bad, at the end of the day you learn something or develop into being a better character of yourself.
P.S : I canāt provide you guys with a picture because you know why
There arenāt any suggestions given by the comments so Iāll just answer the questions that were asked by my classmates.
- Are there other things that you regret taking for granted?
Maybe my childhood, Iāve done my fair share of enjoying my childhood but you can never get enough of your childhood, which you realize as you get older because you will never get those times back.
- Will you repurchase the iPhone 11 or will you purchase an older iPhone version since the iPhone 11 is expensive?
Thatās a good question, Iām not repurchasing the iPhone 11 because it is pretty expensive, so Iāll try an older iPhone version.
- What kind of phone did your friend give you?
My friend gave me his old Samsung s8 for temporary use.
- Iām curious about the actual events that led to you realizing your expensive phone was missing.
I realized about 15 minutes after leaving the place where Iāve left my phone. My friends and I were driving back to our hotel and we drove about 15 minutes and I reached out to my pocket and couldnāt find it and realized I’d left my phone by the water in front of a lake.
Hi Mohammed, I’m so sorry that you lost your phone, its so nice that your friend is letting you use one of his while you get a new one. I totally agree with you when you said we can now do on a smartphone almost everything we could do on a computer. You mentioned that sometimes we don’t appreciate the things we have until we lose them. Do you think loosing your phone was a lesson so that you can start taking better care of the things you have?
