The genre I am choosing is a PowerPoint. The audience I want to direct this to would be black men (teenagers/adults) or probably even police officers. The writing component would be a speech regarding police brutality and many people would are suffering the most from police brutality. Tools needed would be statistics used from my U2 project, some quotes, and also personal experience from someone I am close to.

Class Meetings & Times: in person Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:30 – 3:45 PM in Namm 523A
Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 – 1:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!

Things are going good so far. I’ve completed my powerpoint, I might add some things so it could have more information. I just want to make sure my powerpoint is good enough so I could be satisfied. All I have to do for my assignment to be completed on time is write my speech then I’m good.
