The discourse community that would fit best for my topic would be a women’s rights discourse community or even feminist discourse community. I want to inform those outside of these communities that women are allowed to decided what they want to do with their own bodies and no one else should have a say but them. Also want to add some kind of persuasion for women to have judge free options to be able to have a free head space to decide whether they want to move forward with a pregnancy or not. Not only that I want to include some kind of persuasion for women to have free healthcare when it comes to our reproductive system because if others want to disagree with abortion maybe if women had more help when it comes to deciding to keep a child, it might minimize abortion rates. Not stating that abortions are wrong because it’s all up the women. I want to attract the audience with visual representations whether it be graphic or not so it can bring out emotions and have more of an impact.
