They wanted to make sure that people can come together and open up through the play. See that people from all parts can come together and see different dynamics of each other. They also wanted the community to be open to coming to a play and spreading the message of the tragedies of what happened.

To show that to bring people together we can not be so exclusive but inclusive. There can not be change if there is no dialogue. If no one tries to show each others ways of life nothing is going to happen.

No it did not change my original view of the play because I personally like Greek plays. However, it did impress me,  it definitely a different and new modern take on a Greek play which I think can get people who usually do not like these type of plays to watch it. I also liked how they bring it into problems happening now, and able to correlate the play and the issues we are facing.
