A City Tech OpenLab Course Site
The OpenLab is an open-source, digital platform designed to support teaching and learning at City Tech (New York City College of Technology), and to promote student and faculty engagement in the intellectual and social life of the college community.
I enjoyed the overall design of the website; it had a calming presence (which was intended, as I saw in your essay), and the text and images were carefully chosen–you didn’t try to cram a whole lot on each page. Your essay was great as well. I feel that if you had time, you could’ve meshed the two units into one site, and have the site geared for possible SEEK students that are interested in the health field.
My one suggestion would be to perhaps interview City Tech SEEK students and interlace those testimonials in the website–but that would be fairly time-consuming for this particular project. Maybe for another class?
