As my partner stated we will be adopting a design concept similar to the Odyssey IV

I felt the need to draw it out myself and visualize the look of it
Though after watching the video of their failed attempt I feel that its shape and design may have too much of a flat surface. I will bring this forward to my teams attentions and we may or may not vote on changing the design.
After I began to think about what the vehicle could be made of and the type of housing the electronics would need to keep them dry
I plan to use PVC pipe to make a simple water proof housing to contain the Arduino(s)
As for the vessel itself I was thinking of taking a page from model airplanes and use thin plywood and balsa to create the skeleton, allowing for a hatch to be made so we can slide the inner housing in and out with ease. On top a the skeleton a porous fabric can be strached to cover the whole body and then coated with fiber glass to get the final water tight body.
Nothing is fully decided upon but we have already started on looking for proper parts to use no matter what the final design may be.
