Objective:
dissect a network switch, document the parts and put it back together.
Material:
Linksys srw2008 MP 8port GB switch, screwdriver, hex wrench, solder iron, camera, 5 volt power supply, vice grips, pry bar.
1. examine power supply
2. remove tiny rubber feet with screwdriver
3. remove the screws
4. remove the safety sticker
5. pry open power supply with vice grip
6. take pictures power supply
7. remove power switch
8. remove screws to circuit board
9. take picture of circuit board
10. remove screws of switch.
11. remove front and back bazel
12. remove circuit board
results: we opened both the switch and power supply and took pictures.
