D4 – Notre Dame

Hotel International, leave the hotel at [8.00am]

Take the subway at Goncourt, direction Chatelet, get out at Hotel de Ville.
From the train walk along the Hotel de Ville (huge white building – it is Paris’s City Hall)
cross the Seine River, keep going straight and you hit the parvis.

  • Notre Dame  [Meet here at 8.20 AM ]
    -The cathedral is open every day of the year from 8:00 am to 6:45 pm (7:15 pm on Saturdays and Sundays).
    -The Notre-Dame tower visit is a trip through all of the upper parts of the western façade, dating from the 13th century, where visitors can contemplate the gargoyles and chimera built by Viollet-le-Duc in the 19th century and the 17th century Emmanuel Bell. 10 am to 5:30 pm Last access 45 mn before the closure

    Open every day 9:30 am to 6 pm
    Cashdesks close 30 minutes earlier.

  • Institut du Monde Arabe
    Tuesday to Friday 10am to 6pm, guided tour 3pm
    Saturday and Sunday 10am to 7pm, guided tour 3pm and 4.30pm
    Friday until 9.30p
    Cashdesks close 45 minutes earlier
  • Pavillon de l’Arsenal
