your ahead of some temporarily, corrupt all and any soul owned
with disallowance, all and any soul unbothered will,
struggle –
Awful abyss

He sat cross-legged, weeping on the steps
when Mom unlocked and opened the front door.
O God, he said. O God.
Remember what it was like to be high?
And not on what ifs and jitters?
Back when you were more than a mosh pit of feelings
Of nothingness
and raindrops
The warm embrace cradled her body
to the steady tempo of the sunrise
Never a struggle,
not a single beat skipped
it seemed to come so natural to you

Blissful ignorance, blind to the world and what horrors await
Encased in a cocoon, shielded from the thorns and venomous vipers

The cold breeze that comes rushing in during every step of the way
The voices of people laughing and singing during
Under the hot sun succumbed by the smell of fresh cut grass
The sound of garage doors opening and closing,
birds chirping, dragon flies lying around the sky,

Okay so I’m Black in America right and I walk into a bar.
I drink a lot of

resents the water that will carry her
blood to sea. Blood, worthless currency,
cannot buy a country but becomes it,
