In the Spotlight: Co-working as a strategy

The OpenLab team provides many different modes of support to help members learn how to do what they want to do on the OpenLab. Co-working sessions are a little different as they’re more about fostering a community of support.

These hour-long sessions are for quiet working time alongside others, with the option to move to a breakout room for conversation or questions. In addition to the scheduled sessions, you and your group can request a co-working session hosted by the OpenLab team–or start your own!

The next OpenLab co-working session is on Thursday, 9/18, 11:00am-12:00pm, and is open to all students, faculty, and staff.

Bring some work that you want to do for an hour, set a goal, and work in the (zoom) company of other members of the community.

Co-working is one strategy for increasing focus and productivity. What are others that you recommend?
