For this spotlight, we’re shining the light on you, OpenLab members, and all the great work you do on the OpenLab. The whirlwind of the Fall 2024 semester is calming down, and soon the semester will be behind us.
Need some inspiration to finish your work?
The Spotlight is on the The Ninth Annual City Tech Science Fiction Symposium, which will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 9:00am to 5:00pm . This year’s event, Science Fiction, Artificial Intelligence, and Generative AI, features science fiction writers, scholars, and students.
OpenLab co-working hours are virtual quiet meet-up sessions for anyone to join to get work done. Breakout rooms are available for conversation or questions. All are held via Zoom, so when it’s time for the session, join and quietly work through your to-do list!
Adding your club on the OpenLab can be a great way to create a website to reach more students, to bring in new members, and to keep new and returning members up to date on club activities and events.
The Professional and Technical Writing major in the English Department has launched a new club–the PTW Club–and with it, an OpenLab site for the PTW Club.
Get ready for Plan Week, which starts on Monday, October 28th and runs through Friday, November 1st! You can take part in Plan Week activities to prepare for advisement and registration for next semester, to ensure you are taking the right courses and asking the right questions to stay on the path to graduation and achieving your future goals.
