Reflection #3

Review the introductory course syllabi you looked at in class. What does this information tell you about what you should expect this semester? What information interests or surprises you?

    The course syllabus tells me what work and what we’ll be going over the semester like resources the school offers. The information that interests me the most is how to navigate resources the school offers like the city tech website as I was confused on where to find things so going over that type of stuff is nice. Also learning new mindsets is what surprised me as a I didn’t think we’d go over that but that’s nice since college is different from high school.

    The information I learned while reading the syllabus tells me that this semester I should expect various types of assignments, readings, and discussion posts that will need to be completed. I also learned about the various resources and tools that will be needed in order to succeed in college. The amount of resources the school has to offer, like the writing center and office hours, really piqued my interest because I plan to take advantage of these resources.

    According to what I read in the syllabus, I should look forward to finishing a variety of assignments, readings, and discussion posts this semester. In order to succeed in college, I also learnt about the various equipment and resources that will be necessary. The variety of resources available at the university, such as the writing center and office hours, truly grabbed my interest because I intend to utilize them.

      The syllabus tells me about how the course is going to be run the whole semester and what assignments/ assessments to expect. What information surprised me is how often we have assignments and big projects but it surprised me how professors have office hours you can attend to get help with those.

    According what I read in the syllabus, what interest me was that it helps me know what grades I will have for doing my work and the benefits I have and also because it’s help know what I can and cannot do and also because there is all the information about the teachers to contact them in case I need help whit a homework or have a problem.

    The course syllabus tells us on we are held responsible for any work and make sure that we are on time with class and to be sure to have every assignment and read everything carefully

    The course syllabus tells me when assignments are due and helps me know when I forget about the assignments I forget are due and it also tells me my responsibilities I should follow.

    The course syllabus helped me to understand what we will do in this class. also helps me to find my assignment. It shows the work we have to finish . The syllabus remind me that we have to take responsibility we have to. Finish our everyday class assignment. I like that it’s talk about resource like tutoring and office hour because those can help me if I get stuck. I think that will help me to be ready.

    The corse syllabus helped me understand that should we expect from the class and what we are expected To do. Not only in this class, but in every class it helps mw organise priorities and my time I Have to spend on each class. I also like it because it also covers the topics that I didn’t even know existed but are going to be really useful in the future for example touring and office hours.

    After reviewing the  syllabus what I expect for this semester is the information about the classwork, homework, test, quizzes.and by the syllabus will help me with keep a tracking on my assignments also touring and office hours.

    The syllabus lets me know what projects we’ll be working on, what I’m expected to read, and when assignments are due. I’m especially interested in the professor’s contact info and office hours, because that way I can reach out if I need help and plan my schedule to attend office hours when necessary

    The syllabus I looked at was informational enough even if it didn’t relate to the subject which I find very interesting and useful, it enlightened me about future assignments and grading along with where I can get help.

    The Syllabus provides not only basic information such as room numbers and professor contact information, but Cuny policies, and detailed information surrounding topics that will be covered throughout this introductory course. I was intrigued when looking ahead to the activities and subjects to come this semester, especially those in session 4 #RiseAndGrind.

    The syllabus in the English course tells us how we would be graded what work needs to be done and also provides us with important information and resources

    The Syllabus I looked gives us information that gives us a sneak peek of what work and projects we will expect and have to do in the remaining weeks of the semester. There are several interesting points I thought I saw. One of them was how the class work is graded.

    The syllabus is informational about the purpose of this workshop by explaining the policies and rules of CUNY, and it helps students have a smooth transition into college life.

    For me, The syllabus is to serve you as a guide and also as a responsibility between the professor and the students. it shows you what you are expected to learn during the whole semester, how grades are calculated and when exams are due or topics that are going to be reviewed during the semester. it basically, keeps you on track of what you should do to keep up with others. – Osmaly Maldonado
