Just curious how rats can detect food location. Just smell? If so, food waste usually contains moisture and is always in the drying process due to the Sun light and convection by winds etc. I’m just wandering the relationship between intensity of smell and moisture evaporation from food. Can they remember the location and do mapping info for food?
