My name is Nyima Tsamchoe, and I am a nursing student at New York City College of Technology. I am expected to graduate from my BSN in June 2018. I acquired my RN license in March 2017. I have been working as an RN for a year. I worked at a rehabilitation facility for seven months. Working at a rehabilitation facility helped me to understand the chronic illness better and ways to improve the people with chronic conditions. I am currently working as a Registered Nurse at NYU Langone Brooklyn on the surgical unit. I take care of post-surgical patients. Working as a nurse is a job that I enjoy every day.
