Due for next class on Miro:

• Please use the link above to enter your name for your final system selection (1x glazing and 1x rainscreen) and enter the panel size.
  • Complete Research should include the following:
    • Details!!!
    • Installation Guide Diagrams
    • Panel Sizes (Max & Min Limits) entered on Excel sheet too.
    • Color/Material/Texture
  • Please review and understand the final system you choose; you will be talking about them in the next class.
• Complete building the base Revit model
  • Add Structural Columns – copy up as needed
    • Modify Level 3 to have fewer columns
  • Add Structural Beams
    • Review detail Level setting to see columns and beams
    • Add longspan open web steel joists to roof (grid lines 2-5, A-D)
    • Add 4 notched beam joists (grid lines 1-2 B-D) use connections family
  • Add 8′ W x 7′ H opening
• Create baseline detail views and place strategically on sheet (important before we split revit models for glazing and rainscreen). Don’t worry if these need to be moved or adjusted later
  • Acceptable Scales: 1″=1′-0″ through 6″=1′-0″
  • Recommended Scales: 1-1/2″=1′-0″ through 3″=1′-0″
  • Section Detail Views
    • Parapet
    • Window Head
    • Window Sill
    • Typical Section at Floor Slab
    • Base Detail
  • Plan Detail Views
    • Window Jamb
    • Outside Corner
    • Inside Corner
    • Typical Plan at Column
  • Create 3D views that may be needed.
  • You do not need to draw/model anything yet, the base building model is fine for now.
