Improved PDC Flyer Designs

This was the second flyer that I designed for a Professional Development Center Workshop. It had no date so I just made a template for it. I added an image and made it black and white for the text to stand out more. I love how the green goes with the black and white image. There are many sites where you can collect free images to use for making flyers. This image I got from Pexels.com. I also changed the opacity for the colored rectangles which hold the text. The Sans Serif font I used is Oswald and it’s different variations

The PDC already had flyers they used in the previous year some of which I updated the information, but I  was told that I have the freedom to redesign some of the workshop flyers and this was the first one. One of the PDC staff members provided me with a list of different workshops which I started making templates for. The one part which can be little challenging for making flyers, is finding the right image.

Here are some other flyers I worked on.

Here are the other PDC Workshop Flyer templates I co designed with my fellow Graphic Designer Intern, Krystal De Souza.

As you can see, we stayed consistent with the template for each flyer design. Some of them we tried something different, but at the same we didn’t want to divert from the design we were using. The Dining Etiquette flyer was a lot fun to work on and we wanted to try something different. Came out pretty good!
