My role within the Professional Development Center (PDC) is to help design and update current flyers for upcoming PDC Workshops. My supervisor’s name is Mr. Bradley David Burford who is the Interim Director. He is in charge of the interns at the Professional Development Center.
How I came to find out and select the internship was through the City Tech Internship Director Tanya Goetz, who is also my Professor for internship class. Through COMD Internship site Open Lab site, she showed us that the Professional Development Center is looking for 3 Graphic Design interns. I took the opportunity the next day to meet with Mr. Bradley and I expressed my interest in the position. He told me more about the company and what they do and mentioned to me about what my role would be. He got to see some of my design sample work which he asked me for and my resume. He also asked what my major was and when my expected graduation was as well.
