My summer internship is currently taking place at a healthcare advertising agency. The size of the company is somewhat large, expanding from both in-person and remote employees. My company has two building locations, one in New York City and the other in Chicago. It is a private corporate company under a public parent company.
The companies’ customers/clients are pharmaceutical or healthcare brands that are looking for an agency to advertise a new pharmaceutical drug or campaign they’re exploring to showcase. The company was founded in 2002 and is a specialized division of its main company, which focuses on general advertising. The main company shares a key event in history by helping Apple launch the first Apple Macintosh personal computer. The healthcare division has had its fair share of successful campaigns working with big pharmaceutical companies. And I’m so grateful to be a part of it as an art intern in the creative department.
Driven to create an impact in health through partnership with health brands, they are the disruption that brings innovation, growth, and opportunity. My company is dedicated to creating a space that fosters inclusion and accessibility to health for all.
Dedicated to healthcare, they use a variety of strategies that are considered out of the norm, creating an everlasting impact with brands and through campaigns. Their use of positive disruption is emphasized through their work to encourage out-of-the-box thinking in order to achieve results that go beyond their metrics of measurement. Not only generating positive change within healthcare but also leaving their mark of impactful disruption.
