Each week you will need to respond to two questions posted. Your response should be a minimum of 150 words for both questions. You should also include at least one response to your fellow students. The responses are a requirement for participation part of your grade.

Question 01 –
To access the divide tool, you first, have to create your shape, using the various shape tools that are there for you. Secondly, after your shape is formed, go to the line tool and strike a line through any area of the shape you’d like, to create a boundary. After the boundary has been created, select both, the line and the shape, then go to the Windows menu. Afterwards, click on Pathfinder to find the divide tool to the far left of the Pathfinder menu. Once you click on the divide tool, you will see the split in your shape occur. At this point, grab your direct selection tool to drift these new shapes apart from each other. In overlapping areas, any shape within the lines will be crafted into a new shape, due to the multitude of boundaries.
Question 02 –
When using blend mode in Illustrator, there are a variety of options you can use to create the specific blend you want. All the options in opacity consist of, darken, multiply, color burn, lighten, screen, color dodge, overlay, soft light, hard light, difference, exclusion, hue, saturation, color, and luminosity.
