About Me

My name is Natalie Wong, born and raised in New York City, and I’m Chinese-American. My first language is Chinese because my parents doesn’t speak English , but I mostly speak English. I’m a nervous and a shy person, I always get scared whenever I talk in front of group of people and I end up either talking really fast or mumble. On my free time I mostly draw and illustrate. When I draw I usually sketch first and then use an inking pen. I like to use ink pens more than pencils and paints because it’s more easier to use and it makes the drawing look nicer. Also I watch anime on my free time because it’s funny. Mostly I’m a indoor type of person because I like to draw and do my own things in a quiet environment, and listen to music. I’m also not a morning person, a lot of the time I wake up around noon, and mostly work on a lot of stuff at night. I’m currently a college student at City Tech majoring in Communication Design.  I started school at fall, 2016. The reason why I pick this major is because I like to draw and want to learn a little more about it. I’m really looking forward on taking illustration classes because I want to know what they do in that field, like projects, or jobs they do, and I also want to practice a lot more.
