Python + Leap sample works!

Remy

So I decided to come into class today and get the Leap Motion working with Python.

This worked!

I said “screw the v1 SDK and lets try v2” because v2 seemed better documented than v1 did.

Whether or not this is actually true (I skimmed) I did get the sample.py example working and reading data. I used the documentation over here (make sure you’re viewing as v2 in the upper left area of the screen) and copied the Leap.py file into both the x64 and x86 directories of the Leap SDK folder. This is what the Sample.py file now looks like, modified.

Fun fact: v1 apps are backwards compatible with v2! Supposedly.

But yeah that was super easy. We should stick with v2.
