Project Title: Dream Catcher
Project Description:
This is a device that will record your dreams to a chip and transfer the waves into a data that will be readable. You turned it on the device before you go to bed and place it under your pillow. The waves from your brain will be recorder into the device’s chip. The data will be translated into a script with all the dialogue, description and sound effects that were in the dream.
Research:
UC Berkeley
Currently researchers at UC Berkeley have figured out how to extract what you’re picturing inside your head, and they can play it back on video.

Japanese scientists
We already know that with a scanner scientists can see from your brain the image that you just look at but Japanese scientists have created the first step toward a device that, by scanning people’s brains, could record people’s dreams and read their mind. The next step for researchers will be to study how to visualize images inside people’s minds that have not been presented before – a technology that could make it possible to record people’s dreams.

Princeton University
Researchers at Princeton University have figured out how to use functional MRI scans to tell what’s on your mind. They can’t yet tell exactly what you’re thinking about, but they can get close enough to distinguish whether you’re thinking about (say) an animal as opposed to a vegetable.

Benefits:
It will be beneficial to the exploration of ourselves and to may be reality that we never knew existed or to our past existences.
by exploring to power of our brain and pushing the limits to find new technologies, we will learn new ways of communication without buttons and hard drives but with our brain.
We will be calling it a telepathy-communication or telepathetaion.
the dream catcher is interesting in seeing the my dreams of yourself or of others.
im curios to know if the dream catcher is going to record the users dream in a video format or drain waves. whats the distance between the dream catcher device and the users head. this question came to mind because most people toss and turn alot and may not be on the pillow where’s the device is at and it can make the device fall of the bed.

Deliverable s
1. create a workflow chart for the way the device is recording dreams
2. how to connect the recording device?(possibly Bluetooth technology
3. In order to test the rem sleep chart case is allowed a sleep aid to acquire the need rem sleep.
